wind 7-14 kn with gusts, temp 55-60

First sail on Shamal. overcast with localized squalls that we avoided. wind 8-10 kt, some fun runs! had to motor out of the inlet which had zero wind. A Monarch butterfly landed on the gunwale and rode with us the whole trip, then flew away when we docked.

Day 2 charter on Makai. I think we saw a little shark! It jumped right next to the boat and then we saw a small triangular fin. We headed out further towards the Bay, but the wind was against us on the return so we had to finish by motoring.

first charter on Makai with Sail Solomons. I could only drive while still healing from scapula and rib fractures, so Kurt worked all the lines. Winds were very light and we stayed in the cove near the naval base.
