Kind of a comedy of errors. Amazing to have made the start but ultimately a fouled spin halyard fouled launch made us retreat before finishing.

Abrupt increase in wind from 8 to 14. Carried to much sail and not enough crew. Difficult race

Steady 8-10 gusts to 15 building as the sunset. Shifty under Glen Jackson but strong enough near Camus. Scott and Todd had time at the helm. Barge traffic. Temperature in low 80s. Lots of sun amidst high clouds.
