Leave Bristol docks early departure to make Cumberland basin swing bridge for 7am? All good as we motored out of Bristol along the Avon under the Clifton suspension bridge and out on to the Bristol Channel for sail back down Bristol Channel to Penarth

Penarth to Bristol Docks . Helmed for Night motor up river Avon at half tide. A challenging passage good assistance from crew with Sat nav on helm Entry into Bristol Docks via Cumberland Basin with warning of rowing clubs active in the docks ON final entry numerous rowing boats with two white lights ahead, one astern Difficult to judge the width including the oars! Moored up in the area surrounded by bars. All safe and off to the Container sheds for supper. Back to the boat for a good nights sleep on board with Early start to make swing bridge and under Clifton suspension bridge on Avon river on full tide for passage back to Penarth.
