Downwi start, decided to avoid the cluster/ start from behind & with wind. Worked well, got inside rounding at downwind mark. Came in fifth. Potential improvement to not tack too soon if there are current concerns.

MYC Women's Race

Two handed race. Two laps. Had hourglass spin practice hoist. Bit of a cluster at the start, got drifted below the mark and had to tack, also had a lot of boats going on port when it was risky. First upwind overstood maybe and overcorrected because we thought boats ahead would make it but they didn't, had to tack back and then give Esther and John room. First downwind and second upwind went better. Bit of wraps second downwind douse then fixed. For finish, perhaps could've beat one boat going in on starboard into the current and we were on port - we felt slow, perhaps wind shadow of WW. Finished middle of the pack.
