Awoke to calm morning. Underway and easily drifted through Canso Lock. Quick stop at Port Hawkesbury for diesel. Assisted by the nicest gentleman, Clarke, at the yacht club - a pilot and a boater. Wish we had more time with this very interesting man. Motored to Canso with plan to set sails. After rounding Canso it was clear the wind was not favorable. Pounded our way to Halifax with winds directly on the nose and 1-3’ swells. Safely tucked in at Queen’s Marque to shelter from weekend weather. Enjoyed a couple of beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well as brief ‘lavender’ moonrise.

Mary McGinnis - Hi Joel and Dennis! Yay! Glad you like it. I’m still figuring it out, but it seems pretty cool. You guys would LOVE Halifax! You must do a trip here if you haven’t.

Great day! Sunny and beautiful sky. Fire red and orange sunset. Safely anchored into well marked Havre Boucher just after midnight. I didn’t get seasick today!
