Wind up to 18kts when we departed, with some swell, which stayed all the way. Wind gradually dropped back to 8-12kts for the remainder of the sail. Refueling at Roma Ostia was a little challenging with the SE swell coming into the fuel dock. Entrance into the river got down to 0.9m but staying to starboard initially as instructed worked well. Once in the river the depth stabilized from 1.6-2.3m up to Nautilus Marina.

Early start and light winds, but a nice sail between Punta Alvotore and close to Civitavecchia, close to 8kts at times with just the Genoa out!

Started nearly three hours later than planned due a passing front that came to nothing. F3-4 all the way but only after passing Piombino, across from Elba, did the sea state worsen. Anchored in a very protected Cala Barbiere near Punta Ala.

Smooth with light winds until approaching Livorno. Winds increased to F4, and the sea state worsened with a 1 - 1.5 swell in 15-18 Kts on the bow.

Light winds, quite a few yachts and small boats around. Beautiful coastline, with an interesting channel down to 1.9m between Palmaria Island and the mainland.

Light winds, generally smooth conditions and a lot of traffic as we approached Portofino.

Generally smooth with little wind.

Light winds all the way but washing machine swell wasn’t very pleasant.

Nice conditions, but the wind was either directly behind or on the nose!
