Huge swell from southernly hurricane. Wind 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Waves breaking into the harbor at the mouth.

Light wind Small swell Nobody else on the water Perfect time to try something new... Flew our asymmetrical spinnaker from FX Sails for the first time. It was awesome! At about 7 o’clock, the wind completely died and the sun went down. So we motored back in the dark.

Sea state was calm. Wind was light. Very dark after the moon went down. Lots of sea lions swimming around. A few dolphins. Low oil pressure light forced us to sail back to our slip.

10 knots of wind at the start. Less than 4 knots by the end of the trip. Kamikaze kayakers made for an interesting return to the harbor.
