The weather was nice and calm to start but the front came in and we had a force 6/7 for the last eight hours of the trip. Nice to have a good sail at the end of our trip home.

Don’t now what happened here but it stopped half way through the trip Weather was nice no wind unfortunately.

Eyemouth what a nice little place town on the key side. Very nice harbour master

Getting very tired of motoring meant to have a sail boat any wind on this trip has been little or on the nose.

Tayport is an interesting port don’t listen to what the almanac says for pricing £40.00 cash first night £25.00 second night. No water no electric and a horrible port-a cabin not cleaned and light in the shower didn’t work. Would not recommend this harbour for a visit

Another day of motoring as we went around the corner the fog rolled in making an interesting afternoon into Peterhead the visibility was down to fifty foot as soon as we got tide up the fog lifted.

Just doing short hop as weather is still nice no wind.

Nice motor down past fort George with the dolphins jumping along side of the boat. And off we go east before heading south.

The last loch gate before the open sea

Well it’s the last bit of the canal disappointed that it’s coming to an end. Would recommend it if you like a slow pace for a bit and enjoy wondering around the odd town and village on your way. Thank you Caledonian Canal. To all the staff on the gates you were all so helpful and kind.
