Good training with brothers. Winds S/SE growing by the minute, up from 6-10 kt to 18-22 kt with gusts +25 kt. Went out RF1 but hoisted full when wind depowered in the bay. Outside the bay wind picked up again with 1.5m swell. Had to lower sails and motor back to the marina. Big-drop rain on the way home with sunshine and rainbow. Intense day with a happy ending.

Beautiful day taking the family to Guanabara Bay for the first time aboard Tethys. S/SE gentle winds 6-10 kt, S 0.5m swell.

Really nice day, constant E wind 7-10 kts, no swell. Left the bay toward Ilha da Mãe and back. Lots of training.

SE winds 14-20 kts, gusts to 24 kts. Quite choppy outside BG and had to turn around since Jo wasn’t happy about the conditions. Anchored at Adão e Eva beaches for lunch and rest, then back with lower winds by 5pm.

Strong SE winds (18-22 kts, 25-30 kts gusts). Sunny and not too hot. Intense but great day.

Great conditions: sunny, constant S-SSE winds 10-12 kts, gusts up to 18 kts. Beginning with main sail only, then also jib to the end. Jo a bit worried at first with swell and gusts, then happier and more confident. Overall great day! Fantastic day with 8-14kts SE winds. Large waves at bay’s entrance and need to tack away to go around.

Strong SE wind, 1st reef main sail with jib, then down jib and full main sail. Wind died down and back with engine.
