late start from Great Merc with a last minute decision to get to Barrier while it was a following wind. motor sailed but it was beautifully glassy. A lot of different sea birds and some dolphins en route. Spicy chicken dinner made while underway and eaten just before anchoring. have arrived to a lovely great barrier Bay with no other boats. Bliss!

Plenty of wind today. up to 20 knots at times smallish bumpy swell at the start of the day which got better as wind swung to the west. reefer several times and made good time
