Desolation Sound Day 1: Lund to Copelands

First day of our Desolation Sound trip. Broke a hot water tank fitting at the dock and got an emergency delivery from Powell River. Then we were rammed by an ice cream licking powerboat operator in the Marina. Finally got away and found an anchorage in the Copelands, took a couple tries to find a good spot. Water was nice for a swim.

Short motor up to the Copeland Islands. Tried anchoring on the east side a few times but ended up having to find a new spot. Anchored on the west side in a little bay with one other sailboat beside us. Stern-tied. Seal hung out beside the boat in the evening. Bioluminescence was incredible here.
