Hepburn Point to Laura Cove, Canada

Mabuhay
Catalina 28 Mkii
Beautiful sunny day, 5-10 knots of wind. Sailed most of the way to Laura Cove. Didn’t get anywhere fast. Anchored in the cove. Had a lot of fun on the rope swing. Hanna and I rowed into Prideaux Haven before dinner. It looked nice but I would pick Laura Cove again.

Got the sails up and tacked up the channel, ~3knots. Made our way down to Laura Cove. Anchored first try in Laura Cove and stern tied. Friendly vibe. Water was pretty warm for swimming and rope swing was very fun. Tobin and I rowed around, beautiful area, lots of oyster beds to watch for. Observed that Prideaux Haven was traditional anchoring, not stern tied.
