Set off early with crew suboptimal health after heavy night. Quite a lot of swell. Very gnarly around Corbieres. New sail was magnificent. Great speed and smooth sailing. The fastest trip ever.

Set off from Beaucette at 8; went into town to get extra life jacket, coffee and bacon butties. Put the the new sail up!! Set off, there was a crash between two of the racers, I think we might have been disqualified for being on the wrong side of the start line. Anyway, we made east to lower heads and Sark following the tide as the wind was very light 4kts from the south. We made 18mi and we were probably 10th before we retired from lack of wind. Motored rest of way. Nice day.

We set off on good time; there was more wind at first. We sailed well considering the tiny Genoa we had. Eventually we had to start the motor to get in and we pulled up fine.

Having freed the prop we were relieved to be able to set off. Wind F2-3 most of the way, mostly from the west. No adventures this time. Just good sailing.
