Our final sail on Philia was perfect. We took advantage of the land breeze right out of port to start us out on a nice, smooth close haul heeled over...it felt like we were gliding on the water instead of through it. We closed out the day on a broad reach perfectly aligned with the entrance to port. with just over 6nm to go and maintaining about 5kts of speed, our timing was perfect. Wayne got to practice his med moore as we pit Philia back on her home dock. It was such a wonderful way to end this sailing adventure.

Winds were too light coming out of Cabrera for the first couple of hours. As the wind built we pulled out our sails and enjoyed a fabulous, very comfortable sail into Puerto Portals

Light winds and bigger seas than anticipated made us decide to make this trip under power. Brought the sails out a few times without being able to get much speed. With the eclipse coming up later tonight and plans with friends on another boat, we prioritized speed the rest of the trip

Beautiful sail down the coast getting to know this beautiful boat. Winds built up from 6kts to about 16kts throughout the day. Anchored in about 4m of water in sand just off the beach

Light and variable wins in the morning. Slight breeze in the afternoon. Sunny calm, a nice motor to Henderson’s wharf.
