Moderate wind then 0 and we motored back from out past bakers . Major storm as we were coming in on the launch . Also got a fundraising call from BU while sailing with a BU professor lol went to Maddie’s after and I got the swordfish BLT instead of my usual lobster BLT

Seemed to be building leaving the dock. We started out with the #3 jib but quickly changed to the #1 as it got lighter. Conditions were stable for fantastic upwind sailing to castle island. Wind went super light and we started engine. Then it went to white caps so we dropped the jib. Tried to go back to the #3 but conditions too challenging to get it on so sailed back on main only.

Nice westerly in the mid teens - classic mouth of the harbor . Nice upwind and reaching off Salem Willows . Wing on winged it from mouth of Beverly harbor back out to main channel . Saw one lobster trap indicating outgoing flow.

Jack Polnar - clam chowder of course! engine died on neutral and 0 throttle, thinking for next time needed a bit more throttle or choke, all those sailing with no motor moments came in handy!

Bryan Yoon - ah, cool! thanks for sharing. I've practiced docking at Schrafft's Public Dock but not sure if we are allowed to go in that far up the river.
