Night time passage to return to Gillingham before the bad weather arrives. No dramas during the passage motor sailing all the way with a fair bit of wind and tide against us.

Good sail with a F5-6 behind us. Brightling Harbour Authority have been fantastic and local butcher delivered 9 BBQ servings for us. Absolutley brilliant.

Blustery with occasional rain ahowers, otherwise an uneventful but pleasant sail.

Good weather with wind on the bow and so motored moat of the way. Good to see Radio Caroline on the way and now at a beautiful place.

Crewing in Whistler a Westerly Fulmar. Very choppy sea all the way with winds F4-5 from the SE allowing some sailing under reef.

In company with Snarky and Bootlegger. S-SW 4-5, 1 reef most of the way. Motor-sailing much of the way but turned engine off for a while when mechanical problem suspected. Very glad to reach port after an anxious and uncomfortable passage.

After the end of the cruise and with boats dispersing, just in company with Bootlegger and Snarky. Better weather for the Blue Wave down the Kanaal door Walcheren than on the Northward passage. Then a hot, windless motor down the coast.
