F6 from the North and single handed with all sails up made for an interesting passage with occasional speed over the ground greater than 6kts. Broad Reach with about 1m swell behind me provided a roller coaster passage.

Great exit from Fowey, calm seas and low winds. However a big surprise when 26 kt wind turned up from the North forcing a genoa only passage but still made it to Plymoth in 4.5 hrs.

Risky mid tide departure at 0700 from Malpas but absolutely fine by sticking to mid channel. Westerly wind at 5kts and absolute calm sea. Fueled at Mylor and and exited the Fal at 0900. Wind was NW gusting to 12kts which enabled a mighty fine sail with engine off for about 3 hrs. The wind eventually dropped to about 5-7 kts and the engine came on to motor sail all the way to Fowey.

100% Cloud but a good wind outside the Breakwater for a decent sail. Didn't quite make it for lunch in the Yealm due to time and diverted to Cawsand Bay where we had a delightful cooked salmon with salad lunch at anchor.
