Grew up sailing a 30 foot sailboat on the Chesapeake. Moved to Cape Cod in 2003 where we’ve had a series of motorboats. Retired in 2023 and found sailing again by attending Offshore Sailing School in Fall of 2023 to obtain charter certifications. In 2024 and 2025 I was able to crew on repositioning cruises on a Knysna 500, chartered an Excess 12, crewed on the repositioning on a Vision 440 and finally purchased SV Full Circle, an Excess 14 at the 2025 Annapolis show!

Hazy day die wild fire smoke from Canada. Headed into the wind all day. Motoring. Mix of wave action with some 5 to 6 foot swells down Vineyard channel due to wind against current.

A mix of no wind, great 15 kt broad reaches and some terrifying thunderstorms. Wish we had more windy hours. Great passage nonetheless the less.

Great conditions, I'm pretty sure we had the motor off for at least 90 percent of the trip.Overnight winds were 15-22 with SOG of 6-9 knots. Boat sails extremly well. Thanks for the opportunity!

Mix of conditions along way. Low sea state to 9 foot swells at times. We had a mid leg squall that brought a downpour along with 30 kt winds. 10 hr spinnaker run and an 8 hour broad reach run. Had to recalibrate autohelm twice along the way.
