Raced in my twenties and thirties, did what I was told and knew nothing about sailing but loved the rush of the her heeling and speeding through the wind! Now retired, bought a 23’ Merit Sprint and been dreaming of costal cruising. Active in NauticEd and SailTies. Two awesome resources.

Went on a sail at the Boat Show with YT Leading the Escape and Timmy Boom. Nice sail on an epic 74’ Schooner.

Genoa only bc the main is being repaired. Good blow tonight. It’s our 9th wedding anniversary and the Admiral has taken on sailing like an ole salt. My favorite by a mile to sail with.

Was invited out on “Second Chance”. Has a code Zero I wanted to see but no wind. Went out and pretty much turned for home.

Thought the wind was picking up so we went out for a quick sail after some boat work! (My favorite type of day!!) Wind wasn’t there, Billy helmed and did an excellent job. Practice raising and lowering the main- had the job out for a brief moment. Looking forward to the next few days wind is picking up!!

A quick sail in a good blow and the Admiral slayed it at the helm. Gaining confidence, I am extremely proud of her. She is a badass!!

Capt my Capt M. Beans Laurienzo took the helm today. Great first half of the sail a steady blow and we cooked down to Athol Springs- way back we decided to motor sail in. Marco brought her down the river as I did real sailing work. Great day today. Thanks Beans

No wind 80’s in Buffalo NY beautiful day for the Admiral to take the helm and hone her motoring skills! And boy did she ever! Excellent job stopping at a buoy like it was a mooring ball or a dock- excellent backing to the buoy like a Med Moor- excellent stopping dead alongside (both sides) the buoy. I think she is ready to get me if I am MOB- or will she. 👹👺

Nice evening for a sail and to watch BHSC races. Also check out the new Buffalo Bills stadium from the lake. Amazing it looks so close but is at least four miles from the shoreline.
