Race #2. We finished which is way better than last week took 6 out 7. Proud of our crew. Made a few tactical errors that cost us.

Great race today on Tafa’i. Starting to get a better handle on race mechanics. Shout out to Jim our mentor for coming along. A great job by our tactician, first mate and Admiral Jilly in nailing the course. Crew was awesome and our rail meat kept us level!

Had the legend on board and we did 7 practice starts. We were first boat off of the line 6 of 7 and the time we weren’t 1st we were 2 nd. Crew learned a lot!

What a great day. Jill and I took out four new sailing ladies (Discover Buffalo Sailing) Lisa, Danielle, Paula and Judy. It was cold and we had a brisk NE wind, but boy was it sporty and fun. The ladies took turns at different positions and they all did an amazing job!! Think we got them loving sailing.

First night of BHSC-China Light Tuesday Races We had a mentor and an old salt Tom Lewin work with us, and we killed it. Thanks Tom for all the pointers.

Friday evening sail with my sweetheart, The Admiral the first mate- this girl can sail! Decent blow and she was handling all the lines like a pro!! My favorite person to sail with!! Now home for some chow!!

First race of the year, working out some equipment issues. Was a sporty sail.

Got the mast up lines back home and cast off for the first sail of the season in our beloved “Tafa’i” newly named 03 32’ Jeanneau SO We took out folks interested in sailing with the BHSC-Discover Buffalo Sailing program. The new crew did excellent and all seem to enjoy the day out on the water.

We splashed the day we got home from Tahiti, wanted to test the new maxprop, so what was better than motoring by canal side before game 1 of the semi conference finals vs the Habs. People were gathering but we needed to beat feet to get home to watch the game ourselves. Prop tested out awesome, very pleased.

Got up early and headed to our main port to get gas, so many boats- we were #2 and the early arrival was a good decision. Our week long charter in the leeward Society Islands have come to an end. Magnificent, beautiful, stunning so on and so. Na na Tahiti 😪
