Learned dinghy sailing through the Royal Navy cadets at HMS Lochinvar, Scotland, and in Christchurch and Poole harbours, England. Owned a Bic Bamba windsurfing board; a Phantom 14 dinghy; a KayakSailor rig & tandem kayak; now Flying Scot 19. Sailing Club of Washington since 2022. Qualified as club skipper (~ASA101-103). Sailing/racing club keelboats (Catalina 250s) on Potomac and larger keelboats on Chesapeake Bay. Sailing 45 ft catamarans in Mediterranean.
