Light winds to start with from the W/SW died after several hours but thankfully came back until we broke the jib and had to motor 🤬

Early start to the day an eye watering 0430 departure. Had wind for the first 1.5 hours but that went was freezing cold!

This passage is what champagne sailing is all about beautiful weather and sea conditions. Sailing against the wind and tide but that didn’t matter the sun was shining

Beautiful morning for it sadly very little wind so a simple steam down

Early start and not much doing on the wind front steamed to Bembridge managed to sail for an hour then it dropped. On the plus side sun came out and had a lovely smooth crossing to Braye

Light winds but sunshine is out lovely meander over to the bay and a nice lunch to boot 😎

Bright sunny day NE’ly on the nose but that’s sailing 😂

Beautiful day sun was shining Westerly 3-4 all points of sailing covered including getting Gennacker out. Fairy consistently sailing at 8kts with a spring tide carry us at over 10kts SOG at times. With the record being 12.5kts we were flying

Strong southwesterly F6 well reefed and flying upwind to Cowes until the furler block disintegrated which caused a little drama!
