12hr motor to start then easy boring downwind sailing, a 4hr stop at anchor to wait for tide then a nervous overnight motor through 99nm of tidal zones to anchor in the dark in Fannie Bay

Lizard Island Reef (North West) to Wasaga, Australia
Fast first day and next, tailed off to a day motoring then 2 days champagne sailing then 3 mental days of 3.5m swell and 20-35kn, then entering GBR, half a day of motoring into swell then the most beautiful afternoon of sailing and seeing whales

4.5hrs motoring, consistent 15-20kn first half, 8-10 second half, used mizbal a bit, lost patience and motored a bit. spinnaker halyard randomly snapped

Rough as balls for 2 days, had to slow up for Tonga Passage, most of us were sick

2 days normal, a day motoring then biiig seas and big winds, black skies, no sun or moon or stars, boat and kids coped amazingly. couldn't land at Niue, so more days at sea but they were a dream in comparison. Weather reports couldn't agree and had everyone puzzling whether to go so far north we would be above Samoa
Another couple of hours motoring to get wind then quite a good sail despite grumpy crew

Fitii to Marotet Ini, French Polynesia
Had to motor out of the wind shadow of Tahiti to pick up 15-18kn then DDW. Crappy swell from multiple directions made it an unpleasant overnight trip. then 1.5hrs motor down be inside of the reef to Baie d'Avea Sailties kept stopping.

Paraoro to Parea, French Polynesia
irritating wind at just the wrong angle and insufficient strength meant motoring to get in on time. Will secured us marina berths so we diverted to marina and went out for pizza where a mystery person paid the bill!?!

Tuherahera to Papeete, French Polynesia
Boring motor in lovely flat seas, scary anchoring close to the motu where the manta rays wash their flap-pits

Taamoi to Mauu, French Polynesia
