2 days normal, a day motoring then biiig seas and big winds, black skies, no sun or moon or stars, boat and kids coped amazingly. couldn't land at Niue, so more days at sea but they were a dream in comparison.

Had to motor out of the wind shadow of Tahiti to pick up 15-18kn then DDW. Crappy swell from multiple directions made it an unpleasant overnight trip. then 1.5hrs motor down be inside of the reef to Baie d'Avea Sailties kept stopping.

irritating wind at just the wrong angle and insufficient strength meant motoring to get in on time. Will secured us marina berths so we diverted to marina and went out for pizza where a mystery person paid the bill!?!

Boring motor in lovely flat seas, scary anchoring close to the motu where the manta rays wash their flap-pits

10-15kn upwind in perfect flat water dodging bommies and southbound cats with no ais

3 days of reaching then a day of motoring at 4kn in order to get in in daylight at slack water

DDW nearly 100%, poles out. jumping tuna at the end. Ua Pou is magnificent with big piton spires

great breeze and flat season to start, big currents all the way but then had to motor last 45h to get there and arrive in the morning
