Up anchor at 0800 underway from Considine bay NW side of Nth Keppel Is. Forecast SSE turning E 10 to 15kts, wind pretty much remained SSE at 15, very comfortable with 2 reefs in the main whilst flying the gennaker. Dropped anchor a mile Sth of Pt Clinton south head a little wind burn, thinking will have to find my buff to prevent the windburn ☺️ Nil breakages or lost kit resulting in another good day sailing.

Dropped marina berthing lines 2 hrs before low tide, had 0.4mt under keel until turning towards the marina break walls where upon KiaEa stopped on the Sandy bottom, managed to reverse off the sand bar and move to marina berth Red 54 and informed the marina which is where we sat for 4.5 hours waiting for the incoming tide for more water to get out of the marina basin. This extra few hours at the marina allowed the Admiral to collect parcels that arrived earlier this day which was done 😁. After departing the marina it was a headwind that greeted us sailing back out the 11nm back to the west side of North Keppel Is. arriving and dropping the anchor before dark.

Sailed up to Hallet's on a light southerly. Spent the night at Hallet's beach. No other boats at all. Monday morning popped across to Fisherman's. Couple of welcome swallows follwed us there. Spent the morning on the beach til the wind picked up at midday. Sailed off the mooring and had 16knots E all the way back up to West Head. Perfect wind, heeled at 20degrees. Best sailing conditions we've had!

After being spun around in circles on our attempted anchorage by wind and current, we returned to our orignal spot.
