Scavenger hunt meet sailboat racing. This one has it all from running the engine for up to 1/2 hour to picking race legs from over 50 combinations to get to the most fastest miles in 6 hours. Another 1/2 hour is added for a variable with a penalty time added to that. This is an extravaganza of racing. You must join the Twenty Hundred club it is worth it just for this race alone.

The weather was spectacular on Saturday “Champagne Sailing”. No race today, we fight the current every way when we go around BI 1 but the view is spectacular there. We viewed the barge delivery of an entire windmill to add to the 100+ already built in our beautiful sound. (Electricity keeps going up). I witnessed my first dolphin sighting on Bella Vela it was very nice to see sea mammals having fun alongside us land dwelling humans. The dolphins make me wonder what else lurks in the great salt pond that is looking for a free meal. The anglers hang out at Payne’s dock no doubt the scraps “accidentally” go in at the dock. This must be attracting fish do I dear say “sharks”
