Left Forward Harbojr @04:50 as Johnstone Strait was supposed to blow. 1-2 foot waves until Port Neville then wind NW 8-10 kts and relatively calm. Took Chatham Channel about 40 mins after slack. Could make 3.8 kts in narrow portion but no problem to transit.
