Calm night out with good visibility, YM Prep - took turns to skipper
1

Southampton, United Kingdom
Challenging trip to first firm stop, small swell, cupboard fell down in galley, boat roof leaking, numerous bits falling off, lost all screens and went into limp mode. Regained enough power to limp to Breast at 9 knots - alongside awaiting daylight and contact with technical support.

Les Sables-d'Olonne to Camaret-sur-Mer, France

La Turquie, Guernsey to Statenkwartier, The Netherlands
Lumpy and bumpy through the Bay of Biscay as usual, smoothed out as we headed to Guernsey. Night passage done in three watches of 3 hours. I did 5 to 8 am - Period of low visibility in the channel so good use of radar made. Burning about 210 litres an hour (12 per mile).
