Sisi at sea

We continued our afternoon sail through the beautiful Swedish archipelago, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the last of the day’s light. With light winds, we made our way through the stunning coastal scenery before anchoring in a sheltered spot near Barrlind. A relaxing end to another lovely day on the water, surrounded by the calm and beauty of the archipelago. ⛵️🌅

Sunday began with a wonderfully calm and beautiful morning. With a light breeze and sunshine, we left Ellös under engine power and headed towards Vasholmarna. The sea was peaceful, with barely a ripple on the water. Our drone hovered overhead as we continued our filming mission, capturing the boat and the stunning archipelago from above. We found a lovely spot to moor alongside the rocks, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Swedish west coast. A peaceful morning in paradise — with a little work mixed into the adventure! ⛵️🚁😄

After lunch, we continued sailing and filming the marketing video, with the drone capturing the action from above. The sailing conditions were fantastic, and the boat was really flying along! What a brilliant day on the water! As the day came to an end, we returned to the Hallberg-Rassy yard’s dock for the night and enjoyed a lovely dinner. A perfect end to an incredible day of sailing and filming. ⛵️🌅

We had a great sailing day from Ellös to Grindebacken, with sunshine, good wind, and we also filmed with a drone for a marketing video. We picked up a mooring buoy for a relaxing lunch stop.

After a lovely stop on Stora Kornö for coffee break, it was time to set sail again towards Lysekil. The wind had picked up, and the route soon became a ride through big waves and strong winds. With the sails fully reefed, the boat reached speeds of up to 6 knots. Exciting sailing through the waves, with plenty of wind and a real sense of adventure. A thrilling and memorable sail into Lysekil – big waves, strong winds and a big smile all the way! 🌊⛵️

A Tough but Wonderful Sail We left our overnight anchorage, hauled up the anchor and set sail without even starting the engine. The wind was stronger than expected, and after initially setting the large headsail, we quickly realised it was too much. We changed to the storm jib while underway and continued in some challenging conditions. After a tough but wonderful sail, we arrived at Stora Kornö for a well-deserved coffee. What a beautiful place! ⛵️☕️

A 9 NM sail from Smögen to Näverkärrskilen. We came across a motorboat in distress and helped as much as we could. The final part was a tough upwind sail, making for a challenging but memorable finish to the day. ⛵️

Branskär to Hållö A fantastic sail from Branskär to Hållö, with a fresh breeze and plenty of excitement as I tacked my way between the rocks and shallow waters. The wind made for some great sailing, with the coastline and countless skerries keeping me focused. Arriving at Hållö was the perfect finish — a truly spectacular place, with its rugged rocks, open sea and beautiful surroundings. Another memorable day on the Swedish west coast.

A beautiful late-summer sail from Lysekil to Branskärs Flak. Fantastic weather, warm air and bright sunshine made for a perfect day on the water. The boat glided smoothly through the calm sea — simply a wonderful day of sailing along the Swedish west coast.
