It started off with very light winds leaving regatta Park but as I made my way North through pitwater, the wind started to come in from the Northeast and by the time I hit broken Bay we were getting some quite fresh winds and that was made more exciting by the outgoing tide causing the wind over tide short chop near Lion Island. there was even one idiot jet scare all out there on his own amongst that quite hefty breaking chop. I was very happy with the way the sails performed. even up wind getting 5.5 knots.

perfect siding conditions for a nice little cruise with good friends and good food.
