I learned to sail after moving to California from Chicago. I was in sea scouts in high school and when I was 21 I bought my first 27 foot sailboat. I cruised Southern California coast on it, raced old man buoy races, and some more competitive races including Newport Ensenada 3 times. Now I’m back with an 30 footer but working to keep her sea worthy.
