Capt my Capt M. Beans Laurienzo took the helm today. Great first half of the sail a steady blow and we cooked down to Athol Springs- way back we decided to motor sail in. Marco brought her down the river as I did real sailing work. Great day today. Thanks Beans

Light breeze but enough to kick around Buffalo.

Started with a good blow and we were going okay until it was time to unfurl the jib. Had an issue, ended up withdrawing and working out the jib issue. It finally was resolved thanks to a great crew! Brought her in like we been docking her for years.

Races never got off, no wind. Motored around checking out the area along the lee shore

Light air, practice starts, then did mini races.

Decent wind that diminished. A bit choppy

Motored out to starting boat. Race was suspended then called. Motored back in to the dock

5-12 knots, calm seas Brisk and cool Posted a DNS. This was our first race and we were lost out there. Didn’t realize the start line was so far out onto the lake and could not get out there in time for our RCR Jam start. We stayed away from the course and enjoyed a sporty sail as we watched and tried to figure out the course.

Pretty brisk wind for us newbies to racing. Had a fantastic coach Louis on board to assist us, thank God. Marco got his feet wet 😂
