Tide took us up to 9 knots so was 1.5 hours ahead of plans but that was allowed for to be ok in planning. Very calm sea state around P Bill at slack even though springs and was able to cut some corners. Able to sail entirely a little bit but motor sailed most of the way

Start point at slack all good and able to cut off the corner versus cautious passage plan

Managed to sail 3/3rds close reach port tack speed when sailing 4-5.5 knots .

No wind motored the whole way. All good round Dodmans point

Super smooth no wind saw lots of dolphins

We cut the corner of Bt head v my original plan and it was terribly rolly

Despite being well out Start point was very bumpy

Planned for the needles which was fine at slack but St Albans was very bumpy despite being far out!!
