Returning to sailing and loving it. Looking for my next coastal or offshore adventure.

Started with 8 knots wind from WNW, gusts up to 17 knots. Reefed main and full genoa on beam or broad reach. Over 7 knots downwind. Sailed upriver past racers until almost under the 205 bridge. Then quick run down river close hauled. Beautiful evening. Great company. Lovely sunset. Note: I forgot to start recording our sail until we were near buoy 18.

Ellsworth to Tyee Yacht Club, United States
Realized Dave King wanted to take Saraband out but needed crew. Jumped ship from Aquilla with Oz and Chris P to join Dave. Strong SW wind at first, then it died above Wintler before filling in from the east. then quite strong again. Rough re-entry into Tomahawk. Dave was g I ing faster than needed and almost didn't make the turn into row G. Then came in too hot to his slip. Mentioned dehydration and mental fog. We hung out some more until he booted us out. Ran into Warren at Sextons after (Dave's slip neighbor and has a Westsail also) and Chris mentioned his concerns to him.

Perfect conditions! 13-15 knots from the SW. Comfortable light-sweater weather. This was the kind of evening that makes you fall in love with sailing all over again.
