Started sailing in 2003 on a flotilla trip with friends from my kids prep-school. The calm waters of the North Aegean Sea were my initiation. My yachting experience is largely ‘sailing between restaurants or beautiful bays, in warm waters and holiday sunshine, with a decent chance of seeing dolphins. Now retired, Sarah and I are planning to circumnavigate this beautiful planet by way of the Oyster World Rally 2028. It’s time to up our game! Watch out for Leo (Oyster 495) and watch this space.
