Strong winds gusting to 20-21 knots from the south. Sustained about 10 kts. Reefed head sail to 50%. Main was not reefed due to need to work with reefing setup. Down wind back to marina on headsail only.

Sailed from Paul’s Marina to cousins island through the western ship gap. Winds were light and variable somewhere between three and 7 kn from the northwest and shifting to the south east making continuous sailing very difficult. Seas were calm with no waves at all.

Winds were 5 to 10 kn from the south. We started with a high tide falling as we return north to the marina. Wind blown waves against the current were probably 2 to 3 feet. Shorebreeze to about 12 kn on return. Saw two porpoise.
