Learning to sail and work on a cutter rigged sloop of my own. Keen to crew on day or week long trips if possible. Embalmer by trade, keen to learn every aspect of sailing!

Practiced jybing and tacking west of the harbour bridge. Not much wind but enough to practice. Discussed points of sail and MOB

Very little wind. Gentle tacking for experience, had to motor back due to lack of wind. Practiced docking on return. Saw four little blue penguins

Good conditions, winds up to 15knots at times. Anchored at Moutihe island for lunch.
