I enjoy sailing and meeting people with similar interests. I love the quiet, figuring out how to make the boat go where I need it to go and slowing down.

Light winds, nice gentle sail up too about 4 knots. Engine idle issue upon return forced me to sick at the boat ramp dock to reduce maneuvering into slip.

Wind: 10-20 Water: White caps on the bay Weather: 75 F Brief helm time with 20 knot winds; performed a heave-to for lunch break; crew on jib sheets. Learned more about reading the chart plotter, saw a pump out; competed the pre-sail checklist.
