Well did loads of on the dock training. Primarily boat preparation and spinnaker logistics. We tried to head out and put some of it into practice but the weather had other plans. When we arrived near Kemah boardwalk, the fog was so thick you could not even see the bay. With boaters’ horns blasting and sailors hailing security we decided to turn around and call it a day.

It was a great day on the bay. Wind and seas were perfect for teaching. Winds were steady 10-14 knots all afternoon/evening. Crew was great and was able to get two newcomers out on the water.

Light conditions. Rotated crew across positions. Everyone did tacks and gybes at each position. Everyone had fun and stayed safe. Storm rolled in towards end making it difficult to flake main well.
