no orcas!! made it through the Straight, no issues, left at 1 hour after high water in Gibraltar, west wind 1 to 20 knots, higher than forecasted but decreased during the day

we had wind sustained at 25 I saw one gust to 29. we flew across the straight there were a few ships one called us on the radio to ask what our intentions were and we crossed in front of their bow I wanted to reef but we did not. we arrived in the qfm arena and we're able to berth even without a reservation confirmation.

great sailing until just at the rock where we had to take the sails down, it was like a washing machine and the wind died motored the last few miles

beautiful downwind sail tied to the welcome dock have to check in then we will be moving to a stern to slip

saw hundreds of dolphins feeding off of Motril. a bunch of them came and played in our bow wake for a while. again no wind, so we motored all the way here.

lots of greenhouses motored many hours sailed a few hours anchorage is not great atm

woke up to 15 knots of wind and swell on side by the time we left put up the sales and get it there the wind died. turned out we were just over storm cloud. took all the sales down and motored the rest of the way.

code zero halyard got stuck, it's all twisted but managed to bring it down close hauled all the way except first hour of motor

just motored over here for better protection from the swell
