Well did loads of on the dock training. Primarily boat preparation and spinnaker logistics. We tried to head out and put some of it into practice but the weather had other plans. When we arrived near Kemah boardwalk, the fog was so thick you could not even see the bay. With boaters’ horns blasting and sailors hailing security we decided to turn around and call it a day.

Port Aransas to Surfside Beach, United States
Larry Brown - Hah! Yeah I thought we would have been a bit faster. I forgot the furling headsail was more of a 135 and not a 155. We also needed to keep the main out quite a bit to keep the heel down some in the beginning until newer folks to the boat were comfortable with her. But most importantly we cracked off a bit so Laura could cook us a warm meal on the stove! Pulled pork tacos were delicious!
