Private Captain (charter and delivery), and Instructor aboard sailing vessels of all sizes from 7m to 40m in length in all bodies of water. I've sailed multiple times across oceans and seas, working my way up from simple crew and chef who knew nothing about yachts to becoming a well-rounded and experienced blue-water and coastal sailor. I hold several basic and instructor certifications with NauticEd, RYA, and ASA. Despite all this, I'm constantly learning and enjoy being out on the waters paying it forward to everyone who wants to be a part of such a wonderful world. 🤩

Had Liz at the helm for getting off the dock at Clark's Court in 18kt winds. Had a good downwind sail with one reef in the main and full jib. Performed a yachtsman's jibe to show how much easier it is to do with just 2 people and taught how to set up true jib sheets for backwinding and better sail performance. Successfully tested the anchor before coming in to Port Louis. Doug at the helm with one hand for taking us off anchor and into Port Louis channel. Liz docked against the wind at the fuel dock and took us off and successfully pulled off her first med moor docking with Shaun by her side to talk her through it!
