Leg 4 San Diego to Alamitos Bay (Home)

Leg 3, Oceanside to San Diego. Crew Warren Rampey. it was another calm day with light winds. we encountered a fog bank roughly 10 miles south of oceanside which lasted about 45 minutes or about 8 NM. we were in the clear for another couple of hours but hit a second thicker fog bank about 10 miles north of San Diego. this held until we were in the SD Channel, roughly abeam North Island NAS. Very happy we had operable GOS/Chart Plotter and RADAR. Staying at San Diego Yacht Club for 2 nites.

Leg 3 Oceanside to San Diego, CA

Leg 2 of my trip from Alamito Bay to San Diego, CA. crew was Warren Rampey. he will be with me for the ret of the Journey.

Leg 2 Dana Pt to Oceanside

Leg 1 of my trip from Alamitos Bay to San Diego, CA. crew was Duane Stickles. He jumped off in Dana Point. has reserved the guest slip at Dan West Yacht Club. Went on the wrong side of the bridge and couldn't find the slip. Called the port Captain who gave us directions. Got into the slip and walked over for dinner to Dana West YC.
