Longest passage for discovery crew yet.

Lots of mud on the anchor when we left. Heavy winds when we pulled up anchor. Had to dock at fuel dock in 30 knot winds. But docked and undocked successfully.

When’s picked up from outside the bay and turned us 180° on our anchor. Watched all night using redundant, anchor, alarms, and multiple anchor watches. The next morning, the anchor started dragging. Our crew picked up the anchor and reset it using 10 more meters of rode

Motoring only We took a mooring ball in the bay Mostly protected, but some gusts up to 20 kn

Wind was negligible. Leaving the boat ramp, technically challenging due to tight space between the ramp quay and the nearby rock wall. Luckily, the lack of wind made it easier and we left the yard without incident. It was pretty late in the afternoon when we splashed so due to lack of overhead light, we motored to the nearest Anchorage and put our anchor down Wind speeds are less than 5 kn and compete with a current that is in a different direction so we gently float over our chain in different directions, but everything seems to be holding, and we are watching the chain for tangles

Mix of sunny, partly cloudy, and rain 10-15 kn winds. Beam reach to broad reach Flew mainsail and headsail and made good speed We are mooring at the Polynesian dinner show in Taha’a tonight

Winds varied from 5 to 12 kn. Combination of sailing, motoring, and motor-sailing Olivier lead us through the lagoon in front of the hotels to the anchorage on the southeast side of Bora Bora The weather in the east Lagoon was around 15 knots. The second day at Anchorage it rained. The weather calms down just before we headed back to Taha’a

Winds were about 16 kn out of the southeast Pretty protected here inside the harbor of the reef We took a mooring ball here at the Pearl Farm and went and toward the Pearl farm here. They let us use the mooring ball for the night. Such a peaceful bay sheltered from the 16 knots of wind just just offshore

Very shallow Anchorage. Depth find a reading 0.2 m. No wind yesterday but wind picking up now as it is the next morning. As I am a new captain to this boat, I’m a little nervous about it. There are eagle rays and stingrays and some small black tip reef sharks. Lots of puffer fish.

Sunny. Winds were between 12 and 17 kn. Practiced mooring and created a track into the mooring field.
