I’m a sailor from Point Yacht Club. Sailed hobbies and windsurfers in my teens and 20’s then I moved into the air sports like skydiving and hang gliding. I’m an avid hiker and done much of our Drakensberg. Have been to base camp in Nepal too. I started sailing in Dec 2019 after doing a paddle in 2-man Kayak around Maurituis with Les Willows from Willow adventures. This is where I saw people sailing keelboats an Cats in all the little coves. 2020 I started sailing keelboats.

Late afternoon/ night training for Vasco 24. We sailed to Umdloti and back to get some night experience for our new sailors who haven’t sailed at night. Wind dropped off and was a lively starry night around the ships anchored at Umhlanga.

Ant and Carol of double handed. 10-15 kts ENE Sailed round the Umgeni River PYC pencil Bouy and back. Was fun with Zing flying past us.
