Nathalie AH-SUE - looks like one of the beautiful days sailing in the UK

2 day sail with big following swell. Wind gusting mid 30kts on the quarter, waves occasionally at 3m, pushing us along, rolling lots but very safe. Lost a fish that broke the line 😭. Going too fast (about 7kts at that time). Lots of dead flying fish on the deck on arrival, but I'm not eating them !! Warm and sunny and very windy the whole way. A really nice sail.

Has intended to anchor off this beautiful beach, which all reviews said was great fir swimming and snorkeling. However wind and waves made landing the tender impossible, and water too sandy to see much when swimming. So repositioned to Oranjestat instead.

Malmok to Oranjestad, Aruba
Comfortable overnight sail to Aruba to await a weather window for Colombia. Enjoyed some carnival atmosphere in the few days here, and had a nice day out with a hire car.

Gentle 8-10 kts for a couple of hours, dropping off around midday, so motored the last few hours in warm sunny weather.

Prato del Mare to Lido di Ostia, Italy
Great sail, close hauled 16-24 kts Two reefs and reduced genoa. Arrived after sunset with difficult waves. Kept dry and warm until one big one decided to wash over us all as we approached harbour 🌊

Giglio Porto to Poggio Martino, Italy
Nice winds, sometimes light, broad reaching. 20c and fine weather and good company makes for a great day of sailing.

Marina di Campo to Arenella, Italy
Light winds. Nice and leisurely. Little swim at then end after dropping anchor.

Porto Azzurro to Marina di Campo, Italy
Fantastic day sail. One of the best. 5am departure in light drizzle, with 10-12 knots. Rain soon abated, and we cruised into the day reaching the whole way with goods winds and small waves. A perfect sailing day, with Thomas and Sabine providing great company.
