The leg from Malmö to Klintholm should be a lot of fun in westerly winds of 15 to 23 knots. PERCY cut most of the stretch under full sail at 6.5 to 8.4 knots through seas of around 0.8m. We only reefed slightly for the last 5-6 nautical miles under sail, as the average wind had increased to around 20 knots. After Mons Klint, we took in the sails and motored the rest of the way into the marina. A mistake. We should have tacked. That would have been faster and more fun, so we blasted off for 3 nautical miles. If you're ever in Klintholm, visit "Pet the Horse," a great little bar by the fishing harbor. They serve great gin, delicious beer, good coffee, and the best cocktails. We left Klintholm early in the morning after two nights so as to make the most of the sailable wind for as long as possible. Unfortunately, the wind was only sufficient for about half of the almost 70 nautical miles.
