A passion for the open ocean Driven by a passion for the open ocean, Wavysail Ocean Adventures are tailor-made sailing adventures all over the world. With a maximum of six places on each trip, we focus on providing hands-on sailing experiences led by some of the world's most experienced skippers.
This approach ensures you have time to learn, and we have the flexibility to tailor each trip to the wishes of the group. By contacting every crew member before the trip, we adapt the itinerary to ensure you get everything you want out of the adventure.
Your home at sea
Where you'll sleep, eat and learn the ropes. Which one you sail on depends on the dates you pick.
Beneteau 46
Déjà Vue is a Bavaria 46 — a capable, ocean-certified cruising yacht with a well-deserved reputation as one of the most comfortable and seaworthy production yachts in her class. Below deck, private cabins with ensuite heads give each guest their own space; the saloon is generous enough for the whole crew to eat together comfortably. Topside, a large cockpit with twin helms and all lines led aft means everyone can be actively involved in sailing her. A proper boat for a proper adventure.

Fontaine Pajot Athena 38
Synergy is a Fontaine Pajot Lavessi 40 Catamaran. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped for snorkelling and relaxed socialising with a large cockpit and an extended platform off the stern. She is a very easy handled yacht and copes well sailing offshore. In Synergy we cover ground comfortably at a good average speed of around 6knts which leaves plenty of time for exploring ashore or enjoying remote anchorages. Synergy is very well equipped for offshore sailing. Her sturdy tender provides easy comfortable means to exploring the anchorages you will visit. We have 4 sleeping cabins, two in each hull with a shared shower/heads per hull. Bedding is provided. On board comfort is a priority and the layout offers privacy.
Baltic 51
Gatsby is a Baltic 51 — fast, capable, and well-equipped for offshore passages. At 51 feet, she offers four guest cabins, two heads, a proper galley, and generous deck space for working sails and keeping watch comfortably. The last of the Baltic 51's to be built, she is a proven cruiser and racer, having crossed the Atlantic multiple times and fully refitted in 2015

The SailTies community
SailTies is the leading digital logbook and sailor network. These are stories from the sailors who use it.

A cracked shroud 250 miles from the Rolex Middle Sea Race finish, three volcanoes in one campaign, and why Robert Šarić of Veruda Sailing School trains his crews on the Adriatic.

A Tall Ships bursary put Elouise Pemberton to sea at 19. Twenty years on she is working through all thirteen Challenge yachts, logging every mile on SailTies.

Jenny Whelan sailed 46 legs and 1,800 nautical miles around Britain with her partner Pete, their dog Svea, and an AI chatbot, logging every leg on SailTies.
Yes, and most people do. Trips are sold by the berth, so you join a crew rather than needing to bring one. Cabins are shared with someone of the same sex unless you book a whole cabin.
It depends on the trip, and every listing says which level it is written for. Beginner trips assume you have never sailed; advanced trips assume you can stand a night watch without supervision.
The berth, the skipper and crew, and the running of the boat. Flights, insurance and most meals ashore are not. Every trip page lists what is and is not included before you pay.
The operator's cancellation terms are published on the trip page before you pay a deposit, so you can read them before you commit. They vary by operator and by how close to departure you cancel.
The skipper decides the route, and changing it is normal seamanship rather than a problem. Trips are very rarely cancelled outright; when they are, the operator's terms say what happens.
Independent charter businesses and skippers we either know personally or have been recommended by past customers. Their registered business details are available upon request. All trips are checked before they go live.
Pick your trip, or ask a question first. We'll get you an answer before you book.
