Early start from Peel Bay today to be at the entrance of Strangford Narrows at the right time to catch the last of the ingoing current. Very calm sea but still spectacular eddies and whirlpools to see in the narrows while heading for Portaferry Marina. Bit of of a nerve-recking entry to the berth with the current pushing us all over the place in the wrong direction. The help of some friends ashore was most welcome and made it a very exciting but enjoyable experience even for us newbies. ☺️ #SeasonStart
