Sunday - Calm to Crazy!

Sun and Cloud. Warm. Started 4Kts S. Halfway through sail, picked up and shifted to 15Kts W, 22G. Replaced Genoa with Jib. Sailed with main only as winds picked up to 18NW, 25G. Raised Jib 3/4 of way through as winds dropped to 10Kts N, 18G. Dropped sails and began motoring. Made it to airport buoys and it died. Couldn't restart. Raised Jib for steerage, but winds picked again to 18Kts N, 28G and we got pushed out passed beach at Hanlon's. We had called for tow but it didn't come. Tried engine a few more times and it started. Lowered jib and made our way in again with fingers crossed as dark started to set in. We met our tow at airport ferry. He followed us in. Made it back at 7:30pm. M2W.
