We set off early today for a long sail north to Glenarm, experiencing a bit of everything weather-wise. It was mostly motor sailing to stay on schedule, which is crucial in this area due to the strong tides. After 14.5 hours, we were greeted by sunshine in Glenarm and headed to bed early to prepare for tomorrow’s North Channel crossing. With easterly winds blowing, we’re planning to head to Port Ellen/Islay and sample some of their famous whiskey until the stronger winds predicted for Tuesday pass. 🥃🌊
